READING! “My” for Friday, May 29th

I feel a mix of emotions this morning as I see photos like this from the capital city (Columbus, Ohio) where I live:

Late last night, as I was doing the dishes, I listened to this Slate podcast which helps me understand better what and why this is happening all over the U.S. now.

“It’s Going to be a Rough Summer for Racial Tension”

I imagine my Pandemic Photo O’ Day which I’ll post tonight, will comment on this uprising.

For this post, I’m going to keep to my pattern related to the day’s “My”

Here’s the excellent sources that I feature each day – The Week and the Five Things to Know Today

The Conversation the Good News Network site Creighton U. Daily Reflections

Two week daily podcasts I value – The Daily 202 Big Idea by The Washington Post. (link is to today’s episode posted this morning)

And the Good News Ride Home. (link is to yesterday’s episode as these drop late afternoon EDT)– solid information, no-frills delivery and an extensive list of relevant links in their “show notes”

Finally, please visit the World in Prayer site as their weekly prayer was updated yesterday.

And here’s the link (which stays the same each day) to “My”
