Thursday.
I remember well in college how this felt like the start of the weekend. But, in this on-going Pandemic Period, is there all that much difference between weekdays and weekend?
Here’s the link to The Week and the Five Things to Know Today as I think this is a good, balanced source for solid information.
Do check out also The Conversation and the Good News Network site
And for prayer and faith resources, I highly recommend The Creighton U. Daily Reflections
If you have 15 minutes for a good listen, do check out yesterday’s episode of The Good News Ride Home podcast.
I’m also adding the day’s link to another brief, news podcast that I am listening to each morning.
It’s The Daily 202 Big Idea by The Washington Post.
I like the host and it’s always focused on three secondary stories and then “one big idea of the day.” It drops in the earlyish morning so it’s a good “coffee break” listen.
Today’s episode (found at the link above) ends with a particularly inspiring reflection – and one about the power of music during this time.
You likely know this, but both of these podcasts can be found within all most every major “pod catching” or apps that allow you to subscribe to and stream podcasts.
Here’s a list of the current best apps if you need to get started with streaming podcasts.
And here’s the link (which stays the same each day) to “My Paper.li”
